Toon Santa seems to be very popular with copyright violators that sell through Turbosquid. Here is another case of Toon Santa along with copyright violations of the Apple and Blackberry logos.
We have filed a DMCA Takedown Notice with Turbosquid as of December 11, 2014 4:07 PM PST. The artist’s account is inassa.
We received a reply from Antonio Alonzo agent for Turbosquid who told us that the previous artist Imperial Design, was warned, but not terminated from their site.
We were also told that because of Turbosquid’s privacy policy, they cannot turn over customer information for those who may have purchased the Imperial Designs version.
