• Update Background Texture on File Open. In Preferences > View Tab, option to automatically update background textures whenever a file is opened.

New Mesh Selection Parameters

New options and shortcuts added to the Mesh menu, including selection of Visible Only. Shaded display supports visible only (default behavior of Shade 12). Wireframe by default supports Front and Back. Shaded display supports Visible only (the normal Shade 12 default). Other options include:

• Front Only. Limits only front of a mesh to be selected.
• Front and Back. All visible and invisible parts of the selected mesh can be selected (even parts directly behind any front object).

New Preview and Draft Rendering

• Progress Indicator. Progress bar now displays in preview rendering window instead of the rendering image window.
• Standards Based Targets for Previews. Path Tracing and Path Tracing with Global Illumination preview rendering render to targeted quality standards.

• Draft Rendering Improvements. Now supports Fog parameter settings from Distant Lights.

3D Stereoscopic Rendering Improvements

This elegant citadel of learning features multiple check out counters and a multi-storied tower of books, all within reach of the patented Monton Archiver Machine, a steam powered machine capable of helping a seated operator locate and pick books from any shelf, and delivering it to the hands of a customer below. One can ascend the tower either by spiral staircase, or by elevator, and reach the observatory, where gentle persons can relax and read their books. But outside of this upper level is a curious combination of dwelling place and machine – the scholar’s apartment. Haunted Village: Haunted General Store

This decaying country store still stands, and its empty porch bench shows that it was once a popular watering hole for locals. Inside, storm lamps provide the only lighting. Some goods are on the shelves, coffee, several canned goods, jars and some pickle barrels.

Haunted General Store R2 includes a second texture set – a New England texture set – allowing artists to transform its appearance.

Haunted Village Volume 1 R2 Complete Edition is a spectacular set of desolate and ruined Victorian (and later) buildings of dark and mysterious nature, evocative of Lovecraft country: Arkham, Dunwich and Kingsport. Each building is fully furnished, and also include an additional texture pack – New England textures. Together, create a small town or city fallen on dark and evil times. This set includes seven publicly released models, and a bonus model only available in the complete edition.
