Meshbox Design is the 3D content development division of Proactive International, an Oregon based company founded in 1997.
Meshbox Design Origins
Proactive International is an international business development company that assists technology companies in expanding their distribution in new markets. Proactive International was founded by Lynn Fredricks, who previously held management positions at San Diego-based Qualcomm and Portland, Oregon-based Now Software in the United States.
From its beginning, Proactive International represented a broad range of companies – development tool makers, 3D animation and rendering companies, the largest clip art company in the United States and more. Meshbox Design was born when a Proactive International client company asked “how can I get great 3d content to sell with my product?”. In addition to providing long term 2D, 3D and music talent to software vendors, Meshbox also launched its own product line with its Elven Village series and Toon Santa, the leading toon-like Santa Claus for Poser, MAX and (in 2009) Shade – which has since become the official Santa for NORAD.
Meshbox Design Now
Meshbox Design continues to be a leader in licenseable content, with over 1500 products in its catalog.
